ESS CDI are ballistic goggles designed for tactical use and heavy-duty eye protection. The high-impact polycarbonate lenses are mounted with the Lateral Exchange System, which allows quick replacement of lenses depending on lighting conditions. The lightweight frame has rubberized temples that stabilize the position of the glasses on the head and limit movement in motion.
The design meets ballistic standards and the ANSI standard, and the lenses give full UV protection, which protects vision in field and civilian conditions. Their profile allows use with a helmet or ear defenders. A hard case and microfiber cloth are included for easy storage and maintenance.
